Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is solid.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That will make the platform set when it arrives.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
Infrastructure
This is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
Now, the detail that matters. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.
